Bingley is 4 years old today! But at 38 kilos, his weight is the only thing which sets him apart from the little bundle of pupness who came to live with us four years ago. He might look like a big boy, and when he barks he can sound like a big boy – but really he’s still a mischievous little puppy who measures everything in terms of how much fun it’s going to be.
Luckily the fun is usually mutual; although this morning when he snaffled and chewed up my favourite spotty handkerchief, the fun was definitely one sided! Nevertheless it’s his birthday, so after a couple of quiet sobs I figured he might as well have his birthday cake after all. And, needless to say, much more besides!
We get so much joy from this little boy that none of us can resist making a fuss on his special day.
